Our Board The Lagos State Lotteries Board was established by the Lagos State Lotteries Law 2004. The Board is the rallying point for all stakeholders in the lottery industry- the Lagos State government, the lottery operators, the private sector, the playing public and the general public.

The Board is a government agency which operates in collaboration with the Lagos State government for the advancement of Lottery.

We regulate…. Our primary function is the regulation of lotteries and games of chance; these include public on line lottery (lotto), promotional competitions, scratchcard/ interactive games, online sports betting and other lotteries.

We generate….
The revenue generated from lottery operations in the State is applied to good causes project. Good causes revenue is allocated to Educational, infrastructural, environmental, social & health objectives.

Our authority extends to the following:
 Conduct due diligence exercise on lottery applications
 To grant lottery licence to operators
 Ensure compliance with the terms and conditions of licence
 Ensure transparency, accountability in lottery operations
 Regulate on-line sports betting activities.
 Protect the interest of the playing public
 Enforce the provisions of the lottery law- impose penalty, suspend lottery operation and institute legal action
 Generate revenue for good cause projects.
 Generate funds to supplement the State governments’ development of the education, health, environment and social & infrastructure
