Folarin, Abayomi Michael is the Head, Human Resource & Administration of the Lotteries Board and has over ten years working experience in various Human Resource Management functions. He is very passionate about employee welfare, learning and development.

Prior to joining the Lagos State Lotteries Board in 2009, he was the Learning and Development Coordinator for Reliance Telecommunications Limited (ZOOMmobile), one of the leading CDMA telecommunication companies in Nigeria with over one thousand workforce.

At the ZOOMmobile, he was responsible for the development of company-wide learning and development policies and implementation of manpower development programmes for different categories of staff. He assisted line managers and trainers in solving specific manpower development problems, either on a one-to-one basis or in groups.

Before leaving the employment of ZOOMmobile, he pioneered staff mentoring and e-learning scheme. He was the assistant project lead for the design and implementation of Human Capital Management Information System (HRIS) using Xceed Enterprise People Management Software developed by AlliedSoft Ltd.

He was engaged as the Administration Officer by the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria in 2002 and rose to the position of Senior Manager, Manpower Development & Training before leaving in 2008.

Abayomi holds Bachelors of Science degree (B.Sc(Hons)) in Sociology/Anthropology (1994) and Master of Business Administration(MBA), 2007 from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife. He is also an Associate member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria.

His hobbies are playing piano and listening to good music and. He is married with children.
